¡Bienvenido! To my blog!

This is my story in and outside of the world of design

I've been fortunate in my life to travel a lot. Recently, I've taken trips to Spain and Japan. While there, I always take a ton of photos! My blog features stories and photos from my travels as well as posts regarding other aspects of my life. My blog is a reflection of my interests and my current state of mind. Oh, and I'll update it with some design projects too, haha! Be sure to check out my portfolio if you get the chance and leave comments on my posts!

La Plaza Mayor

A short video that shows off La Plaza Mayor on a typical day in June. During the day, you see people eating at the many tapas bars, others sitting alongside the square, and also artists painting the scenery of the city that inspires them…after all, Madrid is a beautiful city. At night, the plaza gets [...]

Cervecería Plaza Mayor Bar/Restaurant

This is one of the videos that I took while in La Plaza Mayor (Madrid, España).  There was a bar called Cervecería Plaza Mayor Bar/Restaurant that served a lot of different tapas and drinks.  I’m sure the people working inside are not used to people taking photos or filming…but they didn’t say anything against it [...]

Videos from Spain

Ok, so while in Spain, I took a lot of videos with my camera.  Yes, the same camera that I took all the photos that you’ve seen on the blog so far.  If you want to know, I’ve been using a SONY Cyber-shot DSC – W290 12.1 Megapixel Camera.  It also shoots video in 720p [...]

SPAIN – Day 15 – A journey finally over

Of course, when you go on a vacation, there is always a trip back.  Although Spain was wonderful in about every way, I was ready to go back home.  We woke up around 6AM, got ready and headed out of the hotel.  It was definitely worth packing all our stuff the night before.  We headed [...]

SPAIN – Day14 – Back to Madrid

It was so early, but our day began by getting up to go to El Estació del Nord.  We arrived going a different route than what we knew, fortunately we didn’t get lost.  The train from Valencia to Madrid took about three hours.  Upon arriving in Madrid, it felt…well, like home.  You know, when you [...]

SPAIN – Day 13 – Shopping & Eating in Valencia

A slightly less hectic day in Valencia since we wanted to take it easy – we decided to go to a market in the historic district.  Apparently, once a month or so, a lot of vendors crowd the streets in a specific district, and put out stalls upon stalls of merchandise.  Seriously, I’ve never seen [...]

SPAIN – Day 11 – Valencia

As we arrive to El Estació del Nord, I realize Valencia is a little bit more relaxed than both Madrid and Barcelona.  The station is busy, don’t get me wrong, but people are not running over one another just transfer from train to train.  So after we got off the train, it was time to [...]

SPAIN – Day 09 – Montserrat

The 9th day of our vacation began with us walking to La Plaça Espanya (that is Catalan for La Plaza España).  From there we bought tickets for Montserrat.  This excursion includes a choice of two ways to reach the actual summit, either a cable car ride up the mountain (lasting 5 minutes) or a longer [...]

SPAIN – Day 08 – El Camp Nou & La Plaça de Cristóbal Colón

Finally, El Camp Nou! But before that, I just had to take some images of some pretty cool graffiti near the station of Tarragona. Ok, so after getting to the stadium, my father and I bought tickets for the tour. The tour began with a short 3D movie featuring a “friendly” game between F.C. Barcelona [...]

SPAIN – Day 07 – La Sagrada Familia

Today was certainly fun, but it started off with a bit of a disappointment. We had decided to visit Camp Nou, home of the Champion’s League Champs, Barcelona F.C. But when we got there, we were told that the tour was closed due to maintenance, so I guess that will have to wait till tomorrow. [...]
