Lead The Way
Coat of Arms
Background
CapTech partnered with Apparo, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that empowers nonprofits through technology, to bring together a team of consultants to work together to create an iOS application for the classroom. Through this partnership, I designed the user experience for the application.
The application’s purpose is to teach kids and teens about drugs and how to say no to pressure and the temptation. This is accomplished through the use of interactive games and other edutainment (education and entertainment) activities.
Business Challenge
As a consultant, I’m responsible and must prioritize my client work. That said, it can be fun to tackle another body of work that is both new and challenging. Although internal work rarely has strict timelines, it can still be a challenge to work on both external client and internal CapTech work.
This challenge was made tougher as the team grew to include more analysts and developers. Client work and personal schedules had to be considered in order for the entire project to make significant progress. As individuals took on responsibilities and schedules impacted by life, the number of dependencies grew. User story creation took time, game rules were conceived on the fly although at a slow pace, I had two client projects to support and took lunches and spent time at night to design the experience, and development was impacted by all of this.
03. Design Solution
I directed Sola to proceed with Dejah Thoris along one of the less frequented avenues to the southern boundary of the city, where I would overtake them with the throats as quickly as possible; then, leaving them to gather what food.
Feel free to click or swipe through the mobile experience below. I’ve include a select set of interfaces to represent a portion of the work.
04. Other Features
Typography is the origin of language and of human communication. Moreover typography is the fundament of our culture, of ourselves. Only through language we as the human race could evolve.
Awesome Branding
In a word, the whale was seized and sold, and his Grace the Duke of Wellington received the money. Thinking that viewedin some particular lights, the case might by a bare possibility in some small degree be deemed, under the circumstances, a rather hard one, an honest clergyman of the town addressed a note to his Grace, begging him to take the caseof those unfortunate mariners.
