‘Stache House Typography Wall

[intro]Walking into the ‘Stache House, you’ll certainly notice this large typographic design on the back wall. Plenty of character and a fun read too![/intro] [hr type=”single” margin_top=”30″ margin_bottom=”30″]

This back wall has presence and character

One of the owners had the great idea to create a custom bit of typography to decorate a large area near the DJ Booth. We collaborated on a set of quotes and then went to work on fonts. The entire project was iterative. It took a couple try’s to get the right font, spacing, alignment setup. Once we were happy, it was time to go to print. The installer put it up, and now it’s a thing of beauty. Very cool to sip on a hand-crafted beverage and look up at some of your work.

Background on the overall effort

When I was approached by the owners of ‘Stache House to help them with their initial branding efforts I was very excited. I had been in the world of Web Development for a while, so it was a refreshing change to venture back into graphic and print design. The various projects that I worked on with the owners of the ‘Stache House was hugely rewarding! It’s a fantastic feeling to walk into a place and see your work.
